A.Simply put, clean eating. Whole foods that come fro the earth like veggies, meats, fruits, nuts, seeds and some grains. Many are Paleo, but not all.

A.Most are. However for recipes that include oats, for example, you could easily swap them for gluten free oats or peanut butter for almond butter.

A.There are some recipes that take literally 5 minutes (how long does it take to fry an egg?) and some recipes that include slicing a lot of veggies and could take an hour. Playing in countless Pro-Ams while I was competing on the EPD Tour, Euro Pro Tour and some European Senior Events for 20 years, I noticed that the “ average” Club player with a Handicap of 20 something has no clue how to play a Golf course.

All they do is hitting balls, like on the Driving Range. That is why they never get better, respectively never break 90.

Because I know, that every healthy man can break 90 on a constant basis. I proofed it with more than 1000 students in the last 15 years.

Confidence is your biggest asset on the golf course. Without it, you are lost.

Consistency is the “Holy Grail” of golf. Every serious golfer is chasing it, most (even professionals) fail.

But what is considered “consistent”?

Is hitting 60% of the fairways consistent? I don’t think so!

But this is the percentage, the average Tour Player hits the fairway (with Driver, Fairway Wood or long Iron)!
Nobody hits 80 % or more which could be considered of somehow consistent, when the misses are not in the trees or O.B.
So what about “confidence”?

Most golfer say: “I have to be more consistent, then I will have more confidence!”

I say, try it the other way around: when you address the ball and you are confident to hit the fairway, you will surely be very soon as consistent as possible!

While for the Tour Player a missed fairway is only a challenge, which is not affecting his confidence, the same missed tee shot is lowering and finally killing the confidence of a golf player with a higher handicap.

Conclusion: Use a club you are confident with, then you will be consistent soon.

I know, everybody wants to hit it longer and straighter. This is something Club golfers have in common with PGA Tour Pros. The average driving distance on the PGA Tour is 291,7 yards. The driving accuracy averages at 59,46 %.

For me its always funny, when I read statements of guys who bought this or that program and now they averaging 300 yards and hit 12 fairways and more. Why are they not playing on any tour and make a lot of money!

That hitting it over 300 yards is not necessary for an exceptional score shows Jim Furyk. He averages 270 yards of the tee and has a 59 and lately a 58 to his name!

None of the long hitters can claim that, not even Tiger in his best days.

That hitting the ball longer is most likely not the cure for your game when you still shoot around 95 shows a test I do with my new students.

The golfers who come to attend my course “breaking 90” usually have handicaps from 30 to 22.

We play 9 holes on one of the Championship courses here in Marbella. We hit the drives, then they finish my ball, I finish theirs. Mostly I still make Par or a couple over from all kind of bad lies while not one of my students in 15 years played better than 10 over for 9 holes. Despite hitting it always from the fairway, about 260 yards off the tee.

You can try it yourself. Place a ball about 250 yards off the tee and score from there.

We have to accept, that some people are different than others. If speed would be attained just by training enough, I think all sprinters would be as fast as Usein Bolt, because they train as hard as he does (at least most of them).

But they are not as fast and he is special.

Same in golf: To hit a golf ball 250+ yards, you have to have the physical ability. To a certain point it can be practiced, the rest you are born with.

Example? Luck Donald, Nr. 1 in the world a few years ago. He averages 276,2 yards off the tee, hitting 60,71% of the fairways. If it would be possible for him to gain 30 yards on his drive, believe me he would. He’s got the talent, the time and the money.

So Donald reaching No 1 in the world without hitting monster tee shots and Furyk winning Majors and shooting 59 and 58 in a PGA Tournament.

That should be proof enough that hitting long is nice but not necessary.

But a good short game is.

As much as hitting long depends on your age and physical constitution, CHIPPING and PUTTING requires none of it. Just proper practice.

instead of middle of my body at the starting
position). I used to bowl around 90-100. I
bowled over 200 twice last week!

Thanks for your pointers on how to get a 12 lb. light weight bowling ball to hook on the lanes. Since I do have arthritis in my right wrist I am now able to hold on to a 12 lb. bowling ball with control with no problem. Yes, this 12 lb. bowling ball feels like a feather but my wrist can hold that weight and my wrist and arm doesn’t get tired.
Now the problem is how to get a 12 lb. bowling ball to have more track on oily lanes.

Now I sand the surface of my 12 lb. bowling ball with a fine piece of sand paper to a dull surface before I start bowling gives the ball to react with more accuracy and control. The bowling ball looks dusty among the shiny bowling balls on the rack but who cares as long as that bowling ball is doing the job for me.
From low bowling scores that I was always getting like 123, 145, 157 has now picked up in scoring and now I am bowling much higher games like 175, 198, 203, 244.

Now as being a Golden Senior I have got my confidence back into bowling once again. This has changed my life and attitude on bowling making me feel that now that these bowling problems were solved you can let other Golden Seniors know and pass this little information on to them. It works for me and now I feel that with a light weight 12 lb. bowling ball I still can bowl higher scores just by adjusting my arm speed with more swing so that the bowling ball has enough roll and power when it comes into the pocket.

When I am finished bowling my 3 games I do not feel tired at all and that I could bowl another 3 games.

My name is Jessica. I’ve been a singer for years and years, since I was very little. I’ve sung in various choirs, ensembles, professional theatres, won awards in competitions and so on.

I’ve been classically trained, but I have sung many different kinds of music. A few months ago I was working for a professional theatre in North Carolina and had seven performances a week with very little to no warm up time, and no understudies!

Needless to say, this was taking a toll on my voice. I am a first soprano and can usually hit an “F” over high “C” but I was lucky if I could hit a “D”—and it was really starting to hurt. I needed help. I needed to go back to the basics and re-learn, but I didn’t have much money, the nearest city was half an hour away, and I travel quite a lot so a voice teacher was out of the question.

Folks, I have been involved in community theatre for many, many years, both as an actor and as a techie. I’ve performed a wide variety of roles and done many different design and support jobs, but I never had the courage to audition for a musical part. Once you have decided which is best, you now have to decide. “Do I go with my instincts and hope this product is actually good?” Sometimes you do well, sometimes you don’t.

When I bought your program, I didn’t really expect too much. Though I am a passable veteran rock bass player, I was a very poor singer with no confidence or training. I got your program as more of a confidence booster than anything else, just hoping to contribute to my band’s vocal success. But, as I got into it, even reluctantly, I discovered I could actually stay on key without growling (as was my usual). I was able to lessen my volume and improve my technique. I have only been into choir singing for 2 1/2 years and from the start I was categorized as a first soprano. I could reach the high notes easily, but the tone wasn’t as full and resonant as our choir director expected it to be, and I had a tendency to go sharp on my high notes though I felt I was on the right pitch. One thing that the course has helped my vocal technique was connecting my chest and head voices.

Hi. My name is Stan Tarbell, and I purchased the Singorama course about 2 months ago. I’ve always loved to sing, but have never had any real training, which has led to more than one embarrassing moment in front of a crowd. But Singorama is changing that.

Because I love singing, I’m involved in a Christmas choir at work. We sing four-part, SATB harmonies to classic Christmas carols. I’m a tenor. This year, we decided to tackle Mel Torme’s “The Christmas Song” (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). The tenor part for this number is brutal, beginning with the first odd note!

Until recently, I’ve been able to survive in the choir by tracking with some of the other tenors who can really sing; I just made sure I blended in. And if there was a note I couldn’t hit, I’d use falsetto or just lip-synch.
I was eagerly anticipating the chance to apply what I’d been learning from Singorama to this year’s choir numbers. And it wasn’t long before I got my chance. The choir rehearsal we had just last week would’ve been my worst nightmare a few months ago: of the 6 tenors in the choir, I was the only one who showed up!

Hello there, I had been meaning to thank you a long time ago but just totally forgot.
I am an up-and-coming media/ television composer who wanted to gain better control of his voice for recording purposes.

I know this sounds cliché, but I HAVE tried other singing courses that I purchased from eBay etc., and they were more often than not just a PDF of some random lessons that provided no real ‘lesson’ at all. In fact, the only lesson I learned was not to buy singing courses off eBay.
I found your site by chance on a search engine and thought I would give it a shot. I practiced the exercises on a daily basis along with my usual ear training practice and what a difference it made!

When I used to sing intervals, I would wave in and out of tune quite a lot, my vibrato sounded forced and uncontrolled and I also didn’t like my fairly nasally tone.

I can safely say the lessons from your site provided me with the basis for a well-developed voice. My advice to anyone looking to start singing or who wants help developing their voice further should try Singorama’s lessons

I actually purchased Singorama because I was particularly interested in training myself to have perfect pitch. Perfect Your Pitch Pro was just what I needed. I’ve only been playing it a week and I can already pretty much pick out any note that I hear on a piano!

I have studied singing for over 20 years now, and from my experience there are no theories on learning how to sing that seem to agree with each other. Many singing courses promote singing songs, with little technical focus. Whilst others focus on the technical aspects. What I like about Singorama is that it brings both approaches together in a way that is both practical and fun.

Don’t believe the mindset that learning how to sing can be hard. Learning the art of song may seem like a daunting task. But it doesn’t have to be! The hardest part of vocal mastery may actually be convincing yourself that you can actually sing! Once you’ve got that part down, all the rest is just a matter of a little work. Here are several things you need to remember if you want to tune your voice properly to become a great vocalist.

Always remember to warm up. Your vocal chords are just like any other muscle; they need to warm up before heavy use. To warm up, you can do simple scales, choose a relatively easy song, or hum. Don’t try to shock your voice by trying to go up and down your entire range right off the bat. Pace yourself. Only try to push the boundaries of your range (the lowest and highest notes)… gradually.

Sing every chance you get. Practice is very important in any art or discipline, and singing is no exception. In addition to “official,” undistracted practice, try to work on your voice while you do other things too, like while cooking, doing chores or driving. Making this a near constant element in your life will condition your voice, making singing basically second nature, and help take away some of the “seriousness” of it all. This will help you immensely with stage fright and performance anxiety as well, which brings us to:

Practice in front of others. Many first timers find that gathering enough confidence to perform in front of an audience for the first time is one of the biggest hurdles to leap. Start out by recording yourself until you are happy with your results then graduate to rehearsing in front of family or friends you feel comfortable with. With time, you will eventually build a steady confidence, helping you to handle the stage in front of larger groups.

Watch your posture. The quality of your voice depends on many factors; your posture is one of them. Keeping your body in the proper position allows for the best air flow possible. Keep your back straight, and keep your gaze more or less parallel to the floor; don’t look up or down. Keep both of your feet planted flat, and don’t shift your weight back and forth between them. If you are performing seated, don’t lean back in your chair. Keep the upper half of your body straight, the same way you would do if you were standing. Try to sit closer to the edge of your seat; this way, you won’t “pinch” your diaphragm, allowing you to project more powerfully. Always position yourself in a way where your body provides minimum “resistance” to your breathing and voice..

Stay hydrated. When you let your throat get dry, your voice is impacted in a very negative way. It can get hoarse or raspy, and forgetting to hydrate before going out on stage can, over time, cause permanent damage to your vocal cords. To avoid this, always remember to drink plenty of water every time before practice or performance. Take small sips of water during a session as well, as there are many stage factors that will dehydrate you. Avoid taking substances that can dehydrate you, especially right before singing, such as coffee and alcohol. Milk is another to avoid as it causes the oesophagus to build up mucus. There are many other health benefits to drinking plenty of fluids, so for your own sake, drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

Keep your lungs healthy. There are many things that can, over time, slowly cause your lungs to deteriorate. Smoking for one, is one thing you should not be doing; even without considering how it hurts you as in general, it will prematurely shorten the life of a great set of vocal chords. This is especially important if you want to sing higher notes. Regular cardiovascular exercise, like aerobics or running, helps increase your lung capacity and healthy.

Take from other singers/artists, but develop your own style. While there’s nothing wrong with trying to incorporate certain aspects of the voices of other artists you admire into your own singing style – it’s also important that you develop your own unique style. Practice in a fashion that is truly yours. If you want to learn how to sing well, it isn’t about perfectly reproducing the performance of another performer; it’s about putting your own spin on a song that fits your unique sound.

Set goals, but know your limits. One thing that can really help with motivation is setting goals. Goals can be different for everyone, depending on what they want to achieve, what they find difficult, or feel they need to work on. You should also make sure that you aren’t subjecting your vocal cords to undue stress by trying to reach notes that you aren’t capable of or ready for. Remember, everyone’s voice is different. Some vocalists naturally have a wider vocal range than others. You can always choose songs that are out of your vocal range – up or down in a different key to make them more accessible to you.

Consider online singing lessons. Before you go out and spend a wad of cash on a face-to-face vocal instructor, consider learning how to sing better with the most comprehensive and up-to-date singing software like Singorama first. The entire course will probably cost you about the same amount as one session with some singing instructors. But with Singorama, you receive every technique and method there is to know about singing – with the luxury of practicing at your own leisure. Experiencing vocal breakthroughs no matter what stage your voice is at.

Watch other singers perform. Before you ever started singing, you might not have noticed some of the nuances that professional artists did while performing, like their posture or their breathing technique. Armed with the basics of the methodology, you can now look at the artists you idolize and be able to analyze why they perform the way they do. Watching other singers can also help you with your own technique targeting certain factors that you might be having difficulty with.

While you can’t expect progress overnight, anyone with the right mindset, enough determination, and access to the right material and information can learn to sing quickly and easily. • Why do we not live in a continual state of flow? • What interrupts our natural condition of relaxed readiness and energized vigor?

I’ve invested my life asking this question, due to early violent experiences. When my father returned from the Korean War, my family began to disintegrate. My social conflict accelerated as childhood learning disabilities and obesity conflated my already volatile environment.
Like many of us, I couldn’t comprehend the “rusting armor” I had adorned. I only felt weighed down more and more with each advancing year.

The British novelist Anne Brontë wrote:
“All of our talents increase with usage; and every faculty, both good and bad, strengthen by exercise.” Thankfully, persistence is indiscriminate.

Whatever we repeat most often, we become. We can harbor regrets of where blind nature of adaptation has unwittingly carried us, or we can revel in the opportunity to deliberately carve our own path. It’s never too late to plot a new course, for, as Napoleon Hill explained: “Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.”

Yet, as Brontë alludes, if we will not choose change, change will choose us. If we repeatedly hold trauma, anxiety, desperation, fear, frustration and pain, then, like anything else, we will adapt and strengthen it. It becomes “rusted armor” that only moving differently can heal.
The most dramatic influence in our lives, stress, primarily determines our health and fitness, not anything we do.
Insufficient sleep, poor nutrition, inadequate hydration, and most relevant to this message, lack of mobility, are not individually the problem, but merely contributors. They are each stressors, which accumulate. Like a tsunami, once stress crests over a particular threshold, it floods devastation throughout our lives.

This flood metaphor held great insight for me. Unlike others in the birthing field of stress physiology, I didn’t ask how to build higher levees to protect against the swollen waters. I asked, how we recover when our levees break and are overrun. Where others sought to become tougher (able to resist higher floods), I sought to become more resilient (able to recover when the levees broke no matter how high or strongly we build them). And this became my research filter for one simple reason…

Unless we know how to recover from failure, we cannot resist it. We cannot become tougher, until we become more resilient. Like a tree, the depth of our resilient roots determines the strength of our tough trunk and limbs. To stay with the flood metaphor, if we do not know our emergency plan for recovering from our levees breaking and devastating the town, then we cannot effectively build levees to properly protect us.

“Fall down seven times. Get up eight.” Martial art gave me a unique opportunity to observe high stress within a controlled and timed crucible. Unlike the chaos of emotional and psychological violence where you may inadvertently become stronger from the experience, martial arts intentionally aim to develop the virtues of resilience and toughness.

You learn how to bounce back when you make errors, when you get surprised, or when you do not succeed immediately. Errors, surprise and failure are guarantees, so when they happened, I was given an opportunity to observe a predictable pattern arise.

As a national coach and international competitor, I noticed that whenever a fighter would reach their threshold, the stress they were experiencing throughout their lives caused them to be over-whelmed. This event would elicit very specific behaviors: common denominators which coalesced into a method I observed throughout my career.

Teaching tactical fitness for the federal government, I noticed the phenomenon from the opposite end of the spectrum: even these veteran trainers were not able to “enter” drills due to common aches, pains and injuries.
The pattern emerged: these impediments to their health and performance were adaptations from the stresses of their job. They had become “stress-shaped.”The #1 killer in their world was neither bullets nor knives, but stress-related heart disease.
